I was a bit skeptical about additive-free tequilas, but the aging in former whiskey barrels gives this añejo a smooth, rich finish that’s perfect for sipping. It’s complex without being harsh, and the 40-minute charge time for my patience is well worth it.

The whiskey barrel aging gives it a nice depth but it's a bit too oaky for my taste, almost overpowering the agave. It's smooth enough for sipping neat but I expected more complexity for the price.
