Belle Glos Las Alturas Pinot Noir is sourced from the Las Alturas Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County — one of California's most celebrated appellations for cool-climate Pinot Noir. Sitting at elevations above 1,200 feet, the vineyard is bathed in afternoon fog and cool Pacific breezes, slowing ripening and allowing the grapes to develop remarkable depth, complexity, and that signature Belle Glos intensity.

Rich aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, and cranberry open on the nose, with warm notes of baking spice and toasted vanilla from its time in French oak. On the palate, the wine is lush and full-bodied, with layers of dark berry fruit, dried rose petal, and a hint of earthy forest floor. The finish is long, smooth, and satisfying — equally at home alongside grilled salmon, roasted duck, or a perfectly seared pork tenderloin.

John Z. ★★★★★

The high altitude really concentrates the flavor in this one — it's got a beautiful earthy finish that lingers. Smooth enough to drink on its own but held up great with roasted chicken. Already thinking about grabbing another bottle.

Joseph U. ★★★★★

This bottle has that deep, dark fruit character you expect from Santa Lucia Highlands, but it's the silky texture that really won me over. I opened it with a roast chicken dinner and it held up beautifully from first glass to last.

A friend who’s a Pinot snob recommended this to me, and I can see why — that signature cool-climate acidity from the Santa Lucia Highlands really cuts through rich foods in a way I don’t get from other California Pinots. It’s become my go-to for weeknight dinners.
