Ichiro's Malt & Grain Limited Edition is one of the most ambitious expressions Ichiro Akuto produces at Chichibu Distillery - a hand-selected blend drawing on casks he has personally sourced and approved from Canadian rye, American bourbon, Irish whiskey, and Scotch whisky, layered with Chichibu's own single malt and grain stocks.
Bottled at 48% ABV, every component in this blend has been aged a minimum of 10 years, with some reaching 20 years and the rarest components pushing 40 years old. That kind of depth is almost unheard of at this price point, giving the whisky remarkable richness and complexity that continues to reveal itself as it opens in the glass.
