Álamos Malbec - 750ml

Opened this with a steak dinner and the vanilla and brown spice notes gave it a really nice warmth without overpowering the fruit. It's smooth enough to drink on its own but definitely shines with food.

The plum and dark cherry notes are front and center, and that hint of vanilla on the finish makes it dangerously easy to sip on its own. I've been through two bottles this month already.

I usually find red blends too heavy, but this one balances the plum and blackberry notes with a really pleasant hint of vanilla. The finish is smooth enough to drink on its own, which I appreciate.
