Bozal Mezcal Ensamble Espadín - 750ml

I was curious about the Espadín agave connection to tequila, and this bottle delivers a really interesting, earthy character with a smooth, smoky finish. It's become my go-to for sipping on its own, which I didn't expect.

The smoke hits right away but it's smooth enough to sip neat, with that earthy agave sweetness lingering nicely. I've tried a few mezcals and this one strikes a perfect balance for the price.

It’s decent, but my bottle’s a bit harsher on the finish than I’d like for the price, though the espadín’s earthy sweetness is nice. If you’re new to mezcal, it’s a fine entry point.
