Drank this with grilled steak and the dark fruit came through beautifully without being jammy. For a high-altitude Salta red at this price, the balance is honestly surprising.

The cool mountain nights really come through here — dark plum and a little violet, but it stays fresh instead of jammy. Poured it with grilled skirt steak and it held up better than bottles I've paid twice as much for.

High-altitude Salta really does show up in the glass — the color is almost inky and the aromas jump right out of the glass. It's bold but smooth enough to enjoy without food, and the mountain freshness keeps every sip interesting.
