The earthy, almost mineral notes right up front gave this a real sense of structure, and the bright red fruit on the nose balanced it perfectly. I poured a glass with dinner and it was smooth from start to finish.

The earthy backbone is exactly as described—really grounds the wine. The bright red fruit on the nose is more subtle than I expected but opens up nicely after about 15 minutes. Good value for the price point.

The crushed rock and compost notes are definitely there, giving it a unique earthy profile, but I found the red fruit on the nose far more subtle than expected. It’s a decent wine for the price, though I’d probably pair it with a hearty meal to make the flavors pop.
