I grabbed this for a chill weeknight and the juicy, low-tannin thing is real — it goes down almost like a Beaujolais. Chilled it for twenty minutes first and the fruit just popped.

This carbonic Zinfandel is nothing like the heavy, jammy reds I'm used to—it's juicy and light, almost like a chillable red. Low tannin means I can actually sip it without food, though it still has enough spice to hold up to burgers.

I usually avoid Zin because it's so heavy, but this carbonic maceration one drinks almost like a light red—juicy and barely any tannin. Chilled it slightly and it disappeared fast with burgers.
